Guest guest
Hi Bee, I've tried to research the archives to see if this is permitted. I've been doing intravenous Vit C at 30g plus magnesium & vit Bs since Feb this year. It's expensive at $260 each time but insurance pays the full amt so I've been going once a week. This was recommended by my allergist who diagnosed me with allergies to like 34 foods & asked me to do daily injections. I declined the injections but did the intravenous vitamins. I've stopped now for a month coz I was worried if the dextrose saline was giving me issues. But doc says it isnt an issue & they can do it on saline alone as well. What are your thoughts on this? Should I continue? Shirin

Should I continue? Hi Shirin. When I had candida I also got intravenous vitamin C, and cal/mag. I also got vitamin B complex in the hip muscle. Back then they didn't mix it with dextrose saline. If I were you I'd continue them, but with saline only. They are extremely beneficial. Luv, Bee
Guest guest
Dear Bee, I was reading you message regarding intravenous vitamins and was wondering if you do recommend everyone take vitamins this way if they are able to? This sounds like a really effective way of taking in and absorbing vitamins because it overcomes a problem with taking vitamins and supplements that I have been recently reading about. I have read that orally supplementing our body with vitamins, minerals and nutrients whilst suffereing from Candida is detrimental since it is inevitable that we first nourish the pleomorphed yeast organisms with the vitamins, minerals and nutrients that we are consume to nourish ourself. Hence I have read that it is not recommended to take supplements orally from the onset of treating Candida because we will effectively be feeding the yeast. Do you think that this is true, that when we take supplements orally from the onset of treatment the benefit to us does not out do the damage we are causing (in aggrevating our yeast infection) by feeding the candida organisms? Also do you think that by taking vitamins intravenously we can present this problem? If you think that what I have stated above has some truth and we cannot afford intravenous admisistration of drugs when do you recommend that we commense with supplements? Thank you for your help With kind regards, Nithya

But for those that can't, I won't want them to feel they are doing themselves a disservice or neglecting their health. > > I have read that orally supplementing our body with vitamins, > minerals and nutrients whilst suffereing from Candida is detrimental since it is inevitable that we first nourish the pleomorphed yeast organisms with the vitamins, minerals and nutrients that we are consume to nourish ourself. Also when I could only eat 9 foods in the whole world (everything else came back up) my supplements stayed down. If the yeast were eating them like you write, they would have come up too. The foods I could eat were lamb, eggs, butter, a few leafy vegetables and tomatoes. Back then at least lamb wasn't farm raised, so it probably didn't have antibiotics, vaccines, etc. which is why I could eat it, and not chicken, fish, beef, pork, etc. I can't explain the tomatoes, but the other vegetables were lowest in carbs. Guest guest
Thank you Bee. I'll ring the clinic & let them know. I'm sure they'd be happy that I'm coming back! Wow, that's an terrible combination of nutrients for so many reasons: 1) the B12 won't be " true " B12 anyway, which is only found in meats and eggs, so you should be getting it from red meats and eggs instead. 2) Sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) is high in sodium (salt) which depletes the body of minerals 3) selenium is only needed in " trace amounts " so there's plenty in meats, eggs, and ocean sea salt on this program 4) magnesium must always be balanced with calcium 5) only if you are diagnosed with cancer would you need that much vitamin C. I don't think you should have that intravenous treatment at all. Instead allow your body to adjust its own levels of such nutrients, which it will do, and just take the supplements I recommend and follow the diet. Nutrients do not work in isolation of many others, and he's totally clueless about balancing them, and what you require. He is using nutrients to treat symptoms just like doctors treat individual symptoms with drugs. This program treats the body as a whole, and allows your body to do it's own healing and balancing of nutrients, by giving it what it needs to do its job - which it will do as many members of this group can attest to.
