Guest guest
Hi Edie, I have started having added hair loss, too, since starting Bee's program. I believe it's part of die-off and retracing. Try not to worry - you're body is trying its best to heal. Take care, > > > > Hi Bee and all of you great people. > > I have been on this diet since April, and for the past few months I have noticed a great loss of hair. > Is anyone experiencing the same? I'm wondering if it may be hormonal as well.. Hi Sarina. Yes, it is hormonal, caused by candida toxins which create cell membrane defects because the toxins makes the cell membranes rigid/stiff. This means organs that produce hormones aren't as able to function like they should, and hormones that are produced aren't as able to get into rigid cell membranes where they are needed to do their job. Guest guest
My hair is also very long, so it was scary to run my hands through it and get a handful); It's so obvious when you have long hair, because it is EVERYWHERE! I just waited it out. If I remember correctly it was several weeks, if not a goo month or more. It has taken me years to get it this length Hi Geri. I think it would be difficult to describe how much hair is lost by any one individual. The amount of hair loss is also different for each person. Even if you lose some hair, you do not have to cut it short. I had long hair when I had candida and did the program, and I did not have to cut it. It has taken me years to get > it this length I have lost a lot of hair too and I think an increase in hair loss was one of the first symptoms I had of candida years ago. It has intensified since I started healing but I have also noticed a very strong connection between my adrenal fatigue and my hair loss. When I am able to stay on top of the adrenals by jumping rope and relaxing each day, then my hair loss is reduced, when I start stressing or forget to jump 3 times per day my hair loss intensifies. Whenever I wash my hair I get a thick handful of hair falling out. It's quite distressing. I also care a lot about my hair but I believe this diet will eventually allow my lost hair to grow out again. So long as I don't give in to itching the scalp and don't develop too much scarring there is no reason my hair won't be able to grow out healthier and stronger than it was before. I think it's getting a little more shine already.
