(yeah, they would lick some of it) Is there a formula of coconut oil w/ something else that works best > when applied to the human skin? Hi Carmen. If you friend got ringworm, she didn't get it from her cat. She got it because her own immune system isn't normal, so she probably has candida. Cats and dogs can also get candida. Yes, coconut oil is safe to give to cats, dogs, horses, and birds. Start with a small amount mixed into wet cat food, i.e. 1/2 to 1 tsp. and gradually increase it to a maximum of 1 tbl. per day. Coconut oil can also be rubbed into the cat's fur, I would hold off on doing that until the cat is used to 1 tbl. per day. It will create die-off in cats as well. No, there isn't any formula of coconut oil, other than what I recommend, which is unrefined undeodorized, unbleached and cold- or expeller- pressed for both humans and animals. You should only put on your skin the kind you eat since it is readily absorbed. Bee
Guest guest
Thank you for your response Bee. I have forwarded your message to my friend along with your website and group site. About my friend's candida, I sent her the questionnaire from your website a while back; she said her results were 50/50 and she decided she does not have candida... She hears lots about my success with this diet, she even got to " see " my improvements, but she's hard to turn-around to do something good for herself... It's good to know we can give coconut oil to cats. I have 2 kittens myself which I feed grain free; my first baby cat died last year (only 8 yrs old) from terrible intestinal inflammation /immune system going down - he probably had candida to. I want to make sure these new babies/kitties I have, will grow up to have a good and strong immune system. Thank you Bee. Carmen in Chicago. --- In , " Bee " <beeisbuzzing2003@...> > Hi Carmen.
