Guest guest
Hi, I'm . I discussed Bee's diet with my new doctor (a naturopath- who thankfully finally diagnosed me after 5 years) and she said that though Bee's diet was stricter than theirs I could try it in hope it would speed up my recovery from candida, but that I need to watch that I do not lose more weight. I'm 5'8 and have gone from 160 to 120 lbs since June when I was diagnosed with candida and started a yeast-free diet; I feel weak with all this weight loss but am happy to be off of all the meds and not have gut aches and bathroom issues every day. The one item that Bee's diet was less strict on than my doctors was bacon - my doctor insists that due to the inherent process of making bacon that it is not at all recommended while treating candida. She feels that without eating fruits, grains, starches or pasta it would be hard to maintain and not lose more weight, too, and cautioned me. So can someone tell me, maybe scientifically why bacon (or ham for that matter) IS allowed on Bee's diet? Also for the past 3 weeks I have had this pain in my tailbone. It feels just like I fell on some ice, right on the tailbone - only I haven't fallen. I have had on and off bathroom issues for years - like everyone else I'm sure suffering with this dreaded thing. Should I be concerned about this tailbone pain (painful ache)? It is uncomfortable sitting. It feels more like bone pain than muscle pain I think and I do not know if I should speed up my doctor visit. I am scheduled for 2 weeks from now but am sure she could see me sooner if anyone thought this was concerning. I tried searching the messages for each of these topics and could not find anything. Thank you in advance for taking a moment to help.
