Guest guest
hi, in regards to the itching, i have also had a terrible time of it. it has been 20 months since my surgery and i was diagnosed with psoriasis last year. i never had it and i did question this with the clos people. they said they had no questions about itchy skin or this condition. it has gone slightly as time goes by. i 0nly hope it will eventually go forever. Guest guest
Everyone - I really haven't had a problem with bumpy skin but I sure have been having a real bad problem with itchy skin - speficially on my back and on one of my legs. I am two years out and it's driving me crazy. My skin is NOT red or bumpy or scaly - it just itches all the time - wearing a bra most days is torture. My doctor says there's no visible rash or irritation and had given me nothing to relieve it. I often stand for a long time in the shower letting the water pound on my back in the hopes that it will help - which it does, temporarily - but the itching always returns. Anyone have this problem or have any suggestions as to how to stop the itching? I would be VERY grateful, to say the least. Thanks. in Seattle MGB Dr. R. 2/26/02 360 -
Guest guest
are you still taking the fish oil capsules? you may want to up your vit E intake and try using gold bond lotion. see a dr, of course, but these measures could help. good luck sounds miserable! xoxoxo cathy s in va > > Everyone - I really haven't had a problem with bumpy skin but I sure have been having a real bad problem with itchy skin - speficially on my back and on one of my legs. Guest guest
I don't have itching, but I do have small bumps all over the underside of my arms, from my elbows up - wierd. Anyway, I would go see a dermatologist for the itching - sometimes PCP's aren't up to speed on certain skin conditions - not like a dermo man is......good luck! Kellie in OKC >From: " lrjacobs3@... Guest guest
I take the fish oil caplets but am out of the vitamin E. However, I cannot use Gold Bond because the smell of it makes me very nauseous!!! To the point of gagging. Does anyone recommend any other OTB rememdies? in Seattle

Guest guest
Hi , I stopped the protonix and actigall after talking with Dr. R about it. The itchiness went away. I also take a benedryl before bed every night. It helps me sleep and stops some of my allergy symptoms. Just some thoughts. Guest guest
I've use vitamin E for dry itchy skin for years. My PCP said I can take up to a 1000 IU a day without a problem. Best to be careful with it because it is an oil soluble vitamin so too much of it can be toxic. I've noticed that the natural one from the health food store seems to work better for me than the big generic one from Sams. Hope that it helps you as much as it has me. Guest guest
Hi Bee and Everyone, I have recently been developing some small spider veins on my outer thighs. I've been ignoring them for the time being, just because dealing with my cea is all I can handle right now. To be honest, I was a bit suprised. I didn't know I could get spider veins so young (I'm only in my early twenties). Anyway, I've noticed that my veins in general are much more visible. They don't seem to be spider veins, because they haven't broken and come to the surface of the skin. It really just seems like my skin got transparent, and you can see the entire workings of my blue veins from the backs of my thighs, on my hips, up my ribcage, and over my chest. I've never had this before, and I'm wondering if it is because I've lost weight or have poor circulation? Any help or advice would be great. With all the symptoms Candida can cause, i just didn't know if this was another one. Always, Kate

Veins showing up through the skin is mainly caused by two things: 1) cell membranes that are constructed out of " bad " fats instead of 50% saturated fats (those I recommend) like nature intended, which affects vein walls and the skin, and 2) toxins, including candida toxins, which make all of the cell membranes rigid/stiff. Hopefully this program will improve them, but I haven't had anyone report about spider veins who have done my program. Bee
Guest guest
That's really interesting. I have had this same issue just the last two days and came on here to search if anyone else has had similar. Just recently i've noticed that the veins around my chest are much more visible. Not like spider veins, but, exactly how Kate put it, " you can see the entire workings of my blue veins " The interesting part is the fact that, I too, suffer with cea. I haven't cheated at all in a long time so I can only sum this up as a healing reaction of some sort. Any input? Regards, Geo > +++Hi Kate. Guest guest
Acne problems have been associated with dairy foods in the diet. Also going gluten free helps with acne and skin problems too.Just a suggestion if you haven't already acquired this way of eating. Guest guest
Have either of you looked into urticaria? There are chronic and acute urticaria sufferers who have Hashi too. I've read that urticaria is an auto-immune problem. I've found 2 remedy sites (I tend to lean toward natural remedies first, before starting an Rx) mentioning Zinc with or without Copper as a support for histamine problems and allergic reactions.
