Guest guest
Hi : I also have adrenal fatigue, Hashi's, asthma, and some chronic fatigue issues. So, I come from a somewhat similar place. After reading your post, the first thing that came to mind is that you should make the egg smoothie. (You are eating too many grains and fruits based upon what you wrote) I found tremendous relief from symptoms once I started taking two egg smoothies a day (one as breakfast and one as an afternoon snack... especially to prevent the afternoon adrenal crash I experience). Start with one or two pastured eggs, start slow with the coconut oil maybe one or 2 teaspoons, and maybe do 1/2-1 tablespoon of butter-- plus I use one 1 cup of hot water because I like the creaminess better. You need to start adding fat at every meal. Top your veggies and meat with butter. When you warm up foods, add a little butter to the pan. Cook with lard and ghee and coconut oil. Eat avocadoes. This is what will help heal your thyroid---the good fats, our hormones are made from good fats by the body, it is the low-fat/high-sugar diet that is causing hormonal havoc in America. (All my girlfriends, and I literally mean all of them, are dealing with thyroid issues right now.) Also, make one 36 oz. electrolyte drink in the morning (get a bottle to keep it in everyday) with 1 1/2 teaspoons of Celtic seasalt and anywhere from 1-3 lemons, juiced) The adrenals need the salt, the minerals. It will make such a difference. Also, you probably have low stomach acid because it kind-of goes hand-in-hand with Hashi's... so get the HCl supplements and take them with every meal, there is a file on how to take HCl on Bee's website, read it. You need to cut out the grains, they aggravate your Hashi's, so really focus on that part of the diet in the next few weeks. When your die-off becomes too much, cut back on the coconut oil (and maybe a little less butter) but the best thing to relieve yourself is the coffee enema. Read about it on Bee's site. Let us know how you are doing! Best, Marissa
