Hi Bee,

I was wondering if you'd heard of Teeccino Caffeine-Free Herbal

Coffee. The benefits it claims to have are that it's " alkaline " and

rich in " inulin " to help digestion. I'm concerned about it's, though,

which are: organic roasted carob, organic roasted barley, chicory

root, organic chicory, almonds, organic dates, natural coffee flavor,

organic figs.

Apparently, they are ground and you brew them as you would regular

coffee. Before I buy this to give it a try, do you think it is a no-no

for the diet? I wasn't sure since I wouldn't, technically, be

ingesting the nuts and fruit, but rather, the essence of them.

Thanks,

Kate

+++Hi Kate. I wouldn't recommend it since inulin is a sugar, which

doesn't help digestion, and it also feeds candida. See this article

about Inulin: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/pre2.php

+++You do not need to be concerned about " alkalinity/acidity " since

it is a non-issue when it comes to health - see these article:

Why do you feel you need it?

Kate:

That has tons of sugar from the dates and figs, so it's a Candida no-no. You

are ingesting

them, just because they grind it up, this doesn't change the food, it's just

smaller.

Nuts are a no-no, and who knows what's in natural coffee flavor?

Best,

Marissa

Re: New Teeccino Boutique Flavors Coming Soon!

Hi ! I recently bought some samples of teeccino, liking that it's an

herbal coffee. I'm a blood type O and coffee and black tea are avoids for

O's. unfortunately, so is barley!,,, is that in all the teeccino's ?

dandelion root could be a good substitute?! thanks in Seattle ...

see the following link, barley is neutral for all the blood types but O !!
