Guest guest
Hi Bee, I was wondering if you'd heard of Teeccino Caffeine-Free Herbal Coffee. The benefits it claims to have are that it's " alkaline " and rich in " inulin " to help digestion. I'm concerned about it's, though, which are: organic roasted carob, organic roasted barley, chicory root, organic chicory, almonds, organic dates, natural coffee flavor, organic figs. Apparently, they are ground and you brew them as you would regular coffee. Before I buy this to give it a try, do you think it is a no-no for the diet? I wasn't sure since I wouldn't, technically, be ingesting the nuts and fruit, but rather, the essence of them. Thanks, Kate

I wouldn't recommend it since inulin is a sugar, which doesn't help digestion, and it also feeds candida. See this article about Inulin: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/pre2.php +++You do not need to be concerned about " alkalinity/acidity " since it is a non-issue when it comes to health - see these article: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/menu5_1.php Why do you feel you need it? You are ingesting them, just because they grind it up, this doesn't change the food, it's just smaller. Nuts are a no-no, and who knows what's in natural coffee flavor?
