You don't want to overdo it since parsley is a diuretic which causes the body to get rid of fluids. Also ensure you are having enough " good " ocean sea salt and good mineralized water to replenish minerals, i.e. Bee's Electrolyte Drink. > > 2) How soon can I expect the symptoms to subside? Any earlier than > the 3 days the recipe suggests? +++The timing is different for each person, but stay on parsley tea for the full 7 days even if your symptoms subside. > > And finally: I am not having any blood in my urine, however there does appear to be some browning/reddish 'mucous' being produced throughout the day. Yesterday I was hopefully wondering whether it could be the start of my much-delayed period, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Should I be quite concerned (and making a doctor's appointment)??? +++Since you aren't certain where the brown/reddish 'mucous' is coming from you should see your doctor. It doesn't necessarily mean anything is wrong but you need to know what is happening. The best, Bee > Thanks! > > andra >

I do love the electrolyte drink so I have those throughout the day alternating with the parsley tea; and I add the ConcenTrace drops to the drinks that are not the electrolyte drink. I'm still not up to 6 glasses of the electrolyte drink but I think I might start swimming at this point by adding that much fluid in. As for my symptoms, they subsided after less than 24 hours!! I took the parsley tea one day and by the time I was in bed that night, everything was already better.. the discharge I mentioned also has disappeared!!! I'm so thrilled - and my mom is thrilled and amazed. She suffered from ongoing UTIs when she was younger and was always sent to get drugs, so she is non-plussed by this easy way of treating the problem (it also helped she has a book on herbs for the treatment of common ailments, and I found information on parsley tea for UTI there as well). Thanks again! andra

Instead, add more ocean sea salt to your foods to make up the difference. Too many minerals can also throw off mineral balances. Moderation is always the key and " more is not better. " +++However, if your drinking water is distilled or reverse osmosis they are not mineralized water, so you would add 20 drops of ConCentrace to every gallon used for drinking for cooking. Do not drink or cook with softened water. > > As for my symptoms, they subsided after less than 24 hours!! Wow! That's impressive. Well done andra. My sister is a nurse, and after she tried to cure her UTI with antibiotics she cured it with parsley tea instead. I am certainly happy to do that! Yes, I remembered you saying this to someone else on the list who was suffering from UTI recently, and it gave me extra backup to be able to cite a nurse in support of my treatment choice. Thanks, and thanks again! andra
