Guest guest
Hi everyone, I just bought a high quality vitamin e, by Carlson, but am now wondering if it isn't OK as it has rice oil in it. Please see ingredient list below and let me know if this is OK. Vitamin E (as d-Alpha Tocopherol) 400 International Unit 1333% d-Gamma Tocopherol 100 Milligrams * d-Beta & D-Delta Tocopherol 40 Milligrams * Total Tocotrienols 20 Milligrams * ¹ Tocotrienols are supplied by palm and rice oil concentrates. Other Ingredients: Gelatin, glycerin, water Also, I've been struggling with cravings and constipation. It seems when I regularly take 600 mg of Magnesium, my stools get running. Is this OK? Is the goal to be regular vs. having high quality, well- formed stools? Lastly, the cravings have been intense. When I experienced cravings yesterday, I immediately took 1000 mg of Vitamin C which was usually inbetween meals. Is this OK? My stomach feels a bit more " acidic " today so maybe I need to do with meals instead? Thanks for any feedback. Genevieve

It seems when I regularly take 600 mg of Magnesium, my stools get running. Is this OK? Is the goal to be regular vs. having high quality, well-formed stools? +++Please ensure you are not taking 600mg Magnesium at one time; it is take 300 mg twice a day. What kind of magnesium is it +++You may have diarrhea off and on because it is one of the many ways the body gets rid of toxins. How much vitamin C are you taking? > > Lastly, the cravings have been intense. When I experienced cravings yesterday, I immediately took 1000 mg of Vitamin C which was usually inbetween meals. My stomach feels a bit more " acidic " today so maybe I need to do with meals instead? +++If you stomach feels acidic take 1/4 tsp. baking soda in about 4 ounces of water and sip it slowly; when your acidic feeling is done, stop taking it. +++If you need to take vitamin C between meals, you can have it with a poached egg. Hang in there my dear. This is tough but you will win in the end!! Luv, Bee

What kind of magnesium is it I'm taking Mg Citrate but good reminder to split into 2 doses! I'm having a hard time doing 2 doses of Calcium citrate as I take my thyroid pills at lunch and dinner and I have to wait 4 hours to have Calcium otherwise it blocks absorption. Hopefully, I can go off thyroid medicine soonish and not have to worry about . > +++You may have diarrhea off and on because it is one of the many > ways the body gets rid of toxins. Thank you for the encouragement! I was going along fine and bam, the last two days have been really tough. (I am still on 1 c. of raw yougurt which I plan on eliminating in a few days so hope it doesn't get too much worse! . It makes all the difference in the world to know there is another side to this... sometimes I think what I am doing is crazy compared to the Standard American Diet!?!?! My temp was in the 97s today which continues to motivate me as usually I'm in the 95-95 range. Keep on keeping on > Hugs, G
