Guest guest
Hi Group. Hi Bee and a very happy belated birthday to you!! I am doing well on the program; I haven't posted much in the last few weeks, because I've found answers to all of my questions on your website. But now I have one... You are going to fuss at me for this question, because you know (from past posts) how sick I was and this should be a non-issue for the time being. Agreed, but it is still bothering me: I am about 80 pounds overweight and have been on your diet for about 5 weeks. From about 4 weeks before that, I was on a low carb diet already. I keep losing and gaining the same 7 or so pounds, but other than that, I have not lost any weight. I am strickly following the plan, but the scale won't move!! I know this should be the least of my worries, and it is, but I'd like to look as good as I'm beginning to feel!! I don't plan to change anything - there is no way the weight won't come off eventually eating like this. My body will drop the weight when it is ready. So, my question is this: does yeast overgrowth cause the body to be resistant to weight loss? Thanks, Kathy

Yes, candida overgrowth does cause the body to resist losing weight because the body creates body fat in order to store candida toxins, and others, away from vital inner organs. So it is a protective mechanism. Also if a person takes any kind of hormones, they also interfere enough with the functioning of the body so the person cannot lose weight. In addition the organs aren't producing proper hormones like they should which can affect weight, since candida toxins (and other toxins) make all of the cell membranes rigid/stiff - see: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/cabout1.php Luv, Bee
Guest guest
Thanks, Bee. That makes sense and makes me feel better, since I know I am doing all I can to cure the Candida. I haven't taken any hormones in about 5 years, but I do believe my hormones are messed up. (I haven't had a period in two months.) So -- what I'm getting from your articles is that I should continue your diet, supplements, and coconut oil and also drink your electrolyte drink? (I also take Nystatin.) I have been inconsistent with the electrolyte drink - it just seemed like I was getting too much lemon and salt for a day and I thought I was retaining water. But now I see I need to not worry about that and just drink it. Right? Enjoyed the article you linked for me also. Thanks! Have a great day! > > > > Hi Group. I believe you are taking Nystatin way too soon. You need to be able to take 6 tbls. of unrefined coconut oil without getting severe die-off symptoms before adding Nystatin. >> I have been inconsistent with the electrolyte drink - it > just seemed like I was getting too much lemon and salt for a day and I thought I was retaining water. Guest guest
Hi Bee. Thanks for the answers. Should I stop the Nystatin? I am taking 5 Tblsp of Coconut Oil per day in addition to .5 tsp of Nystatin 4X per day. I do have some detox symptoms (right now I have boils - yuck) but my only die-off symptom is occaisional diarrhea. If I stop it, should I taper off or just stop taking it? Also, I thought I was retaining water from the electrolyte drink, because I felt puffy under my eyes on the days I drank it and... well this doesn't make sense now that you've given me more information, but I thought I was retaining water from it because I wasn't losing weight. So, I'm definitely going to get consistant with that. It helps the thyroid, right? Thanks again ever so much, Kathy And PS. I have had NO UTIs since starting your program. (This was a constant symptom beforehand.) My hip busitis is improving slowly, but improving steadily nonetheless!!

You can just stop taking it; there's no need to taper off. > > Also, I thought I was retaining water from the electrolyte drink, > because I felt puffy under my eyes on the days I drank it and... well this doesn't make sense now that you've given me more information, but I thought I was retaining water from it because I wasn't losing weight. It helps the thyroid, right? +++Yes, the Electrolyte Drink helps the thyroid because of the minerals in ocean sea salt, but they help the entire body. Coconut oil helps the thyroid a lot. Your eyes being puffy doesn't necessarily mean you are retaining water since it can be caused by detoxifying. Not losing weight also doesn't mean you are retaining water. > > And PS. Good for you! I'm so happy you are seeing good improvements! Onward & upward. Luv & Hugs, Bee
