I think for a facial bar, I'd replace the Sweet Almond oil perhaps

with meadowfoam and/or rosehip oil. It's always fun to experiment,

but yep, those two oils can get pricey.

It's really an open playing field but a few things should be kept in

a certain percentage. Here's my take:

> Sweet Almond oil - 30%

> Coconut oil - 25%

> Apricot kernel oil - 30%

> shea butter - 15%

Give a Lye discount of 10%. Essential oils keep around 1% for face.

Hope this helps, .

Have a great day,

Bee, there are 2 coconut oils on the site that you recommend for buying

coconut oil. One is less expensive, but please tell me which is the

best:

1) " Coconut Oil, Unrefined

Virgin coconut oil, $38 per gallon plus shipping. "

2) Centrifuged Extra Virgin Coconut Oil, $41.75 for 1/2 gallon, and

$64.95 per gallon, plus shipping

Thank you Bee! : )
