Guest guest
Hello All, As you know I am busy redesigning the CAPPS website. I have a question for you all. When you first knew something was not right wiht your child's head and decided to go to the web, what words did you place in the search engine? I am looking for words other then Plagio that people would search under. You can e-mail me privately if you would like at angandjaya@... As always, thank you for you unending support! Sincerely, Jaya Dong http://www.CAPPSkids.org
Guest guest
Concerning the words I used to find info ..... I typed in " skull shape " " flat skull " .... I just wish I would have gone to the internet sooner!!
Guest guest
Jaya, I put in about a million different things since I couldn't remember the technical name. I think I finally got to the right place looking around some pediatric neurosurgery places. I think I even entered flat head but I can't remember if it got me anywhere! Guest guest
Cheryl, I do believe that adjusted age could play a part in the timing of treatment. I know we have people in this group that are working under this situation and hopefully one of them will respond. If they don't you might try posting the question once more with a new subject line. Sometimes that gets more people's attention. Marci (Mom to - helmet grad) Oklahoma
Guest guest
I used cranial asymmetry. Thats what our neurosurgeon called Max's condition. He had never said the word plagiocephaly.
Guest guest
Hi! My Name is Amy White. My son's name is Hunter; we were told to start with he had positional molding and he would grow out of it. So that it is where I started looking. Amyjamiewhite
