Guest guest
Yep. I subscribe to the body clutter (weight loss) and it is great! With a family, cottage cheese and an apple isn't gonna cut it for the kids. This gives me meals for four people for dinner. So far... they'd all agree with BFL. I just follow all the veggie suggestions, and only do one of the carb options. So if it says serve with sweet potatoes, and brown rice, I skip one of those options. The entrees are all good. Fish, Chicken, stuff I can do in my crockpot! Then suggestions for 1 for breakfast, and lunch, and 2 snacks a day. Sound familiar? The snacks etc, I do tweak a little because often it's stuff like veggies without the protein and carb content. But I love the lists. Anything that makes my life easier I'm all for! Guest guest
This is a great site. I have the cookbook and my family loves the meals and they are really pretty healthy and easy to make. -- menu ideas I thought I'd pass this along if anyone might want to check it out... www.menumailer.com I used to subscribe and am thinking of starting again once I get a better handle on foods, carbs/proteins, etc. to venture out of my confort zone. Anyway, your subscription includes a weekly e-mailed dinner plan (6 meals), including suggested sides. There are different versions--I did low carb to avoid extra sugar, and then added carb sides to round out the meal. What I liked is that your grocery list was already made and also the meals were family friendly. The woman who does it is a nutritionist and the nutritional values are listed. I can't say how much they agree w/BFL recommendations, but it might be worth a look, esp if you are cooking for a family. I think there is also a version that is focused on losing weight, but haven't seen it personally.
