Guest guest
Since removing most carbs from my diet, I have noticed a lot of pain and weakness when I exert myself, even walking from my car into work. Going up hill when I take the dogs out for a walk is hard and running while I'm working them is really tough. After I run a course with them, I have to bend over to catch my breath and not pass out. My spin class today was equally hard for this reason. It feels like I haven't had enough to eat even though I know I've had plenty. If I recall, I experienced this same pain and weakness when I tried that Atkins diet some years ago. I'm assuming it's because my body is figuring out how to get the glucose and energy it needs from a different source, protein and fat. Is this the case? It'll get better, right?
