Guest guest
Hi Bee: I really need help, please. When I picked up the heavy box a few months ago I got a hernia between my navel and breast bone. My intestine (transverse colon) gets stuck in there and can be pulled in about three inches causing nausea, pain, very bad pulling from my groin, my b/p goes up 20 points and same with pulse. I have seen several doctors and had a CT done with no help or diagnosis for this yet. The next recommendation after another long visit in the ER last night is colonoscopy, hoping it is stuck when they do the proceedure so they can see it. Is this condition something you are familiar with? Also, I had tears around both lower rib area. Over time those have seemed to open completely leaving me to feel my diaphragm is no longer attached and in place. In fact, I can't involuntarily inhale while laying on my back. Can I live normally without a diaphragm or with an injured one? It has been 4 months since the injury. I am scared and frustrated. I hope you or someone else in the group can help me. I have lost much sleep, eat little and felt on several occasions that my life is in danger from the heart related stuff. I hope you or someone in the group can help me. Thank you, Avaa
