Guest guest
Hello, Bee. Very-long-time-no-post, I know. I'm writing in because I'm still struggling with maintaining a consistent high vitamin A supplementation (vitamin A rich foods like liver, as well). I am still highly reactive to it, overall. I've got some FIERCE rash going on right now, seemingly viral related (although I'm not limiting what it could be from), and it flares HOT (red and ITCHY!) the more I push the vitamin A. The rash is most prominent on the right side of my body, in my upper-inner arm, arm-pit, and down my right 'trunk.' I also get some of these ITCHY bug-bite like lesions on my legs, lower stomach, chest, and also around my right wrist. A few days back I was hitting the chicken livers good and these clear liquid filled blisters were itching like CRAZY! I had to get up and squeeze out the liquid because it was so irritating at night when I was trying to sleep. It felt like what some lymies describe from their herxes where things are coming out. I say that it seems viral related because the major location of the rash and blisters and scabbed bug-bite things are very indicative of Shingles reactivation. I'd like to think it is more likely a die-off/healing response instead of a lowered immunity and reactivation of the virus. It's like clockwork that depression, anxiety, upset stomach, brain fog, and feelings of darkness and death enter my head after taking the A. Is the vitamin A really capable of potentiating my immune system so much that it causes such immediate and powerful herxes/immunopathology? I mean, I literally feel like I'm dying. I think I'm having very strong neuro. herxes. And what do you think of my rash and such? I've had it going on about 2 months now, and some have suggested it could be a sign of vitamin A toxicity, even though it has all the hallmark signs of Shingles virus reactivation or die-off. What is your opinion? I'm trying to figure out what could be going on here. Thanks for your time and best wishes to you.
