Thank you so very much for this email!  It made my eyes tear up in that it is

the kind of objectivity I have been searching for everywhere.   Thank you for

the part that says: If I do decide to take them take pleanty of Coenzime Q 10!

I just want to share my own experience. I won't tell you whether or

not to take them but they kill/disable more people than they save by a

long shot. I have familial hypercholersterolem ia (not sure I even

believe such a thing exists anymore) and was put on statins almost as

soon as they came out. Within a short time, I was falling down, no

balance, unreal muscle pain, incredibly weak etc. The docs told me I

had multiple sclerosis but the MRI didn't show any plaques in my brain,

so they were puzzled. Then after almost a year of this, the first

reports of statin induced myopathy started coming out and one of my

doctors read about it in a journal. I stopped the statins and within a

few weeks, I had quit falling down. I don't think I ever regained my

muscle strength. They also found out the protein from the damaged

muscles had severely damaged my kidneys, but thankfully that did

reverse. Had it gone on much longer without anyone realizing what the

cause was, I would have lost my kidneys and probably died. If you do

decide to take them, take a lot of Coenzyme Q10. They now know that's

what statins deplete and the cause of statin induced myopathy.

Also...CoQ10 is essential for the proper functioning of the heart. If

statins deplete this HOW CAN STATINS PROTECT your heart????? Just my 2

cents worth.
