Die-off symptoms. Red, dry, inflamed face?

Hello,

I've been on the anti-candida diet for two months now. I'm on it to

help clear my eczema, and of course to get healthier. But I'd do just

about anything to clear up my skin.

Before I went on the candida diet, the eczema on my face had flared-

up really bad. I didn't even look like the same person anymore. And,

since I have been on the diet, I have had only a few days here and

there will good skin. Most of the time my face (from the top of my

forehead to the middle of neck, including my eyelids) is red,

blotchy, dry, tight and itchy. Has anyone else out there had similar

die-off effects? If so, how long did it last? Did you also have

eczema on your face before starting the diet?

My face problems have made me dread even normal activities, like

going to work because of the discomfort (I teach classes at a local

University). The discomfort is mostly physical, but certainly

emotional too. To get-by in public by looking halfway normal and

healthy, I've bought an expensive cosmetic concealor which helps hide

some of the red, but now that it is so dry, even make-up isn't doing

the trick. Plus, when your skin is really dry and tight, the last

thing you want to slap on there is make-up.

So, if you've experienceds die-off symptoms in the form of these

conditions, i'd like to learn more about your experiences. I'm

willing to share anything about mine as well. I'm not sure how likely

you are to have these particular die-off effects if you didn't have

pre-existing skin problems already on the face. That is, i'm getting

the inflamed face die-off effects because that's the ailment the

Candida was affecting in the first placce. Other than the skin

problem I am not having any die-off symptoms; no flu like feelings or

anything--just this awful face and neck skin reaction.

Looking forward to hearing from others,

-Kree
