Guest guest
Thank you very much, you are right and this helps, it made my eyes water. I need to tell you that I do not have chest pains but said that in order to get my MD to a test (C protean reaction) I had to lie and say I have chest pains to get her to pass me on to a cardiologist who can approve the simple blood test. I worry now that I said that they will force me on statin drugs even if I don't want to. One thing that helped me a lot was hearing your spin about anti depressants in that, as if I did not have enough other problems my 30 year old son keeps going back to Chrystal meth after giving it up for 5 years and people say he is medicating his depression and docs and others think he should be on anti depressants that I have been fighting but not sure I should and now I am going to be more open to the idea after hearing from you, thank you. After reading Bee's links about the idea that HIV is not related to AIDS and that the AZT cocktail kills you (not her site or idea just some she sent me) and is toxic and should be avoided, while coming terms with my poor non acculturated Central American wife who will soon be asked to take AZT; I had the good forturn to go to an aniversary of an Homeless and HIV org I helped to start 26 years ago. I ended up speaking to several doctors and they were not your normal all pro drug company docs. We are talking about progressives, a lesbian, a gay man and one other and they were all willing to say that there is a lot of bad in medicine on the part of drug companies, but like me, they have just seen first hand hundreds (in once case 1000's) of men who were really sick and close to death who got a lot better when the AZT drug came out. ANYONE, ANYONE who lived in San Francisco in the late 80's and early 90's who went through the hell of seeing men dropping like flies (I once had 6 friends die in one week); and then saw it almost stop when AZT came out, would have to be angered at these links that can only kill people if they read it an decide to believe it. I am not all pro drug company. I have refused blood pressure meds, antibiotics and other drugs countless times, but then there are times to look at it differently and it is hard when both sides of this issue are so polarized and demonize the other side and are not willing to be open that each can be wrong. iT is hard from one to make up their mind when they can not find an open one or objectivity. Thank you! Bob Hello Bob, Wow...I am so sorry that your wife has HIV. You having chest pains and dealing with all the stress is such a burden on you both also. I don't know anything about the treatment of HIV so I can only tell you what I now do in every case when it comes to my health. I personally do as much research as I can on anything that applies to my situation. I read traditional and holistic treatments and I want to know what caused the problem and how to prevent it from coming back, if it's possible. I do my work and with the Good Lord I then make my decision. Nobody has all the right answers to anything so I wouldn't just put all your trust in one doctor or person. People nowadays seem to lost the ability to think for themselves.
