I have been unwell for 8 weeks which started of as a suspected case of helibacter pylori, to which i was given a high dose of antibiotics and acid reducing meds!! Still no improvement so the dr decided after a positive stool sample to give me another course of antibiotics. My condition just worsened and ended up with raging oral thrush! to which i was prescribed nystatin. Still worsening i was then admitted into hospital due to rapid weight loss, weakness and swollen intestines.After blood work and an endoscopy which all came back normal i was discharged with a follow up appointment to see a gastro specialist. I then went to see a nutritionist, who discovered i was intolerant to most foods, had no stomach acid, and had systematic candida albicans. I am now living on a very limited diet of just chicken, turkey, fish and eggs! Few vegtables as i am unable to tolerate many, no fruit and water for drinks or herbal teas. I am taking vitiam b and d also c im taking digestive enzymes with hcl in, linseed capsules milk thistle capsules, aleoride capsules and serrapeptase for the immflamation. Plus a heavy doses of probiotics. I am still not seeing much relief, although i have not lost any more weight this last week i am stil not gaining any and at 5ft weighing just under 8 stone i am extremley concerned. I was suffering terrible fast heart rate even when just standing up, this seems to have improved this last week or so!! The swelling underneath my ribcage straight across my stomach is horrendous. I am so miserable and depressed,i have done hours of research on the internet to try and find out what could possibly be wrong with me as i have no confidience in the drs now. I also have fybromyalgia but due to my intolerances am unable to take any pain relief meds.. I have constant gurgling going around my intestines and bowels and feel them spasming all the time... Please Please is there anybody out there who could tell me if candida could cause these extreme symptoms and give me some advice on how to tackle this.
