Guest guest
So Marina's been complaining for the past several days that she felt like a yeast infection might be coming on. Fortunately, her yearly " female doctor " appointment was already scheduled for today. She just called me and the doctor says she has " severe lactobacillus " overgrowth or something down there due to weak immune system, and wants to put her on antibiotics. Ironic huh??? #1: I've never heard of that. I thought lactobacillus was one of the good bacteria? #2: Marina recently began taking Primal Defense with me, which is chock full of lactobacillus strains. Perhaps she should just go back to the acidophilus instead. (I'm sure Bee will say that!) #3: A quick google search shows that lactobacillus is used as a TREATMENT for vaginal problems, so how could one have lactobacillus overgrowth??? I see that Bacterial Vaginosis occurs when there is a LACK of lactobacillus... Just a little confused... Doug
Guest guest
My daughter was told to use yogurt for a vaginal infection. It worked.
