Guest guest
Oh, ok.. Could you please update this page? " Curing Candida, How to Get Started " then: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/intro1.php " #1 - Do not increase proteins more than you increase good fats – try to keep a balance of 20% protein to 60% fat. " It specifically lists 20/60 and it also stresses taking the supplements *after* the diet is being followed. (see #8) " #7 - At this point you should have eliminated all foods that feed candida and all man-made oils and fats, soy, and most processed foods. Hopefully you are now getting enough fats so you can eat the amount of protein recommended. #8 - Now you can start taking essential supplements . Start with low doses and gradually increase them. " Sorry, I don't recall reading the 20/80 recommendation anywhere and I can't find it now. Also the article " How to Successfully Overcome Candida " has so much information in it I imagine that's why the " Curing Candida, How to Get Started " was created.. as a way to provide a quick reference guide perhaps? I'm not sure that the information from both articles correlates and, at least in my case, it has caused some confusion. Thanks for letting me know. > > , it's not 60% fat; the ratio is 80% fat to 20% protein. > > Bee >

I thought you were referring to an all meat and fat diet. The above is correct, however on an all meat and fat diet you would consume 80% fat and 20% meat. My figures based upon the initial ratio calculations: For example, if you are 5 ft. 6 inches it is calculated as follows, so the percentage is of total grams consumed: Protein = due body weight 68 23% Low Fat = Protein x 2.5 169 58% Carbs = Protein x .8 54 19% Total Grams Consumed 291 100.0% Bee
