Guest guest
I recently started taking a calcium supplement which contains 250mg Calcium and 250mg Magnesium. I have been following a Candida diet for a few weeks, so I have not been eating any dairy products, and I want to make sure I am getting enough Calcium. I took two caplets per day for about 5 days but I had to stop because I became very constipated. Shortly after stopping the supplement I had regular BMs again. Oh, and I also noticed that when I was eating dairy in the past, for some reason goat's milk would constipate me, but cow and sheep's milk would not. Could that have been because goat's milk is higher in calcium? What can I do to ensure I am getting adequate calcium and not be constipated? Any ideas.
