Guest guest
Hi Bee and thanks. Consistent improving health and a question regarding oats. I was shopping today and came across bobsredmill.com gluten free steel cut oats. I and me daughters have been changing our food (they may not realize it yet) No more soy sausages, toast, fruit juice, granola. I see now that we eat way too many sugars, wow! Their fav at this time is Daddy's pasture fed ground beef, tomato puree, zuchinni, green bean, red pepper stew/sauce. They like oatmeal but with gluten I have been making less. I know it is high in carbos as well. Have you heard of the gluten free and should I still soak it overnight?

The truth about oats is this: most commercial oat products on the market have been cross-contaminated with wheat, barley and/or rye, which occurs during harvesting, transportation, storage, milling, processing and packaging. There are specialty companies in North America and Europe that now produce pure, uncontaminated oat products [which are gluten-free]. Yes, you still need to soak oats. The best, Bee
