Herb Mineral Water

I've been drinking 1 cup of the strongly brewed herb mineral (tea) water in

place of the electrolyte drink for the past week or so and I was wondering if

it's ok to have more than a cup. The recipe says one is enough, but to have two

if you're feeling tired or run-down, etc. Will it matter that much if I have

more than 1 cup per day? I've been making it with peppermint, dandelion and a

little milk thistle and have found it has a sort of a 'medicinal' effect.

Also, is there a good reference anyone knows of to find different herbal

combination's based on different types of situations? For example) I know that

peppermint and ginger are good for digestion.

Thanks!

+++. 2 cups a day should be fine. I'm sure there are many

internet references for combinations of herbs.

Bee,

I need to back up and ask a more basic question about this topic:

What IS " mineralized water? " I'm embarrassed that I don't know, so

I've never asked. I live in an area with good tap water, or so I've

always heard. I know now that the Fluoride in the water is harmful,

but I think my local water is fortified with minerals. Is " mineral

water " good tap water, or is there a certain kind/brand that you use?

I've looked for it at the grocery store, but I can't find anything

called " mineral water. "

Thanks, (once again)

Kathy

+++Hi Kathy. You are correct, that mineralized water means it

contains minerals normally found in good water, which includes tap

water in many areas. Non-mineralized water includes Reverse Osmosis,

Distilled Water and Softened Water. There is no brand.
