Guest guest
Zack, These kinds of messages inspire me to keep trying... I often read comments like yours below, but how did you get to this place? Did you go through mad cravings the first days/weeks? What tools did you use to not succumb?... wish more successful people would write for those of us who are having a hell of a time getting off carbs, which to me feel like drugs and I am the addict. Surely, I'm not the only one struggling...? My latest try was 13 days and then I succumbed to cravings due to feeling sad, I think. Cheers, Jagrati > after doing Bee's diet I have absolutely no taste for sweets or for dairy > products except for maybe butter and a little cheese now and then. > > > Zack

Most members of this group have struggled with cravings like you are. For help with cravings and withdrawal symptoms see these articles: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/menu_2_5_3.php I think the simpliest treatment is to take 500 mg of vitamin C every time you feel a craving coming on, and to continue taking it every hour for at least 4 hours, which curbs such cravings. The best, Bee
Guest guest
Thanks Bee, I haven't tried the Vit C approach and I will do. It amazes me that I keep caving in to cravings despite what I know in my head, which tells me how powerful they are... and I need to be more exact about the amounts of CLO I'm taking to stop me from feeling down. I'm currently using up the last of my Carlsons and adding on extra A & D. Will be getting a superior quality one soon which I think will help. Determined to get off this merry-go-round... ;-) Jagrati > I think the simpliest treatment is to take 500 mg of vitamin C every > time you feel a craving coming on, and to continue taking it every > hour for at least 4 hours, which curbs such cravings. > > The best, Bee >
Guest guest
My cravings for sugary foods have also disappeared actually. That's quite incredible as I was nearly eating only carbohydrates (being a vegan). Now, when I'm hungry, I feel like eating fat. That's the first thing I think about. I eat what I need and then stop when I'm not hungry anymore. Before, I couldn't stop eating and ate 3 deserts sometimes :-D. Maybe when you feel like eating carbs, you should first eat a good meal made of fats, proteins and low carb veggies. Then you see if you still crave carbs. In my case, it works... After a good meal, I'm simply not hungry anymore.. . > > > > after doing Bee's diet I have absolutely no taste for sweets or for dairy > > products except for maybe butter and a little cheese now and then. > > > > > > Zack >
