Guest guest
Been on the diet a month, and big improvements in skin problems/allergy problems although I need at least 10 hours of sleep a night and still have absolutely no energy, I can barely walk to the grocery store or get through a day at work. I am a musician and have no will to write or pick up the guitar anymore because of how tired i am constantly. It's like I can't get enough sleep. Is this just the die off or am I missing something? Here is what I have been doing every day this month. MORNING: 3 eggs scrambled with a good amount of butter and sea salt all my vitamins in proper dosage (a, e, calcium, magneisum, cod liver oil w/ oregano oil, nutritional yeast flakes) i take one Hydrochloric acid pill with the eggs LUNCH: meat stir fry with veggies... usually ground, lamb, chicken, veal or turkey, veggies like asparagus, broccoli, peppers, 4-5 cloves of garlic, onions, and all other veggies recommended on the diet... all cooked in a good amount coconut oil I take two Hydrochloric acid pills with lunch all the vitamins again before dinner. DINNER: same thing as lunch, though sometimes I cook the meats and steam the veggies for a change. Also drink Pau D'arco throughout the day and all my meals have a good amount of sea salt on them. I also drink a lot of water with lemons. Sometime a few hours before bed I may have 3 eggs again since I'm usually starving again by then. I feel like an old man, one actually passed me on the sidewalk walking faster the other day! I really am not exaggerating on how weak this diet has made me. I will note that I had Candida severely bad and that one thing left out from the diet is Niacin, i tried it for a day and I had terrible skin for the following 5 days. WIll go back on it after I make a bit more progress and won't cause as big of a die-off. Any help on how I can get energy would be appreciated. Maybe I need more vegetables? My meal ratio is more meat than veggies usually. Thanks, Mitch

Hi Mitch, I'm sure you'll hear some great advice from Bee shortly. But I wanted to chime in as I can relate. I have been on the diet for a month too and felt great at first but now feel more fatigued. To me, it's a good thing as it means I'm reducing the toxic candida. It isn't easy though. Just be sure you take it slow. I noticed that you are on the oil of oregano, did you give yourself time to build up to this? It took me 1.5 months just to get to diet and all supplements before I moved on to any antifungals. Also, 5 cloves of garlic at lunch may be too much for your system right now. oil w/ oregano oil, > > > Any help on how I can get energy would be appreciated. If you are hungry, I think fats are better to go for than protein. Hang in there... you're not alone. Hi Mitch, You know, eggs are in the top 5 on the list of food sensitivities. Now, we (thanks to Bee) know that we cannot truly be allergic to any wholesome food, but those of us with candida problems can experience more die-off with some particular foods than with others. And sometimes that includes reactions of extreme fatigue. I discovered only yesterday that I don't handle eggs well. I had no idea previously. I thought my tiredness and depression was " just the way it was " . And I always ate lots of eggs while doing this program. Suddenly I put 2 and 2 together and realized the eggs really bring me down. I felt great yesterday (without eggs) and wonderful again today. I will stay away from eggs until I'm more healed and able to better handle them. I have no idea if this applies to you or not. But I thought I'd mention it just in case eggs might also be a difficult food for you to process as well. I noticed you're eating quite a few of them. And I know how difficult it is when someone can hardly find the energy to get through the day. Also, it takes my body about 6 hours for a reaction to show up. So that's why I didn't get the connection that eggs were the culprit. I understand that for some people the delayed reaction may show up even longer after eating a particular food (sometimes even up to 48 hours later). Sometimes we have to cut back or even eliminate certain things - Bee always tells us to take it slow. You may want to try eliminating eggs for a week or so and see if that helps. The reason you are reacting to eggs is because they contain sulphur (one of the 7 macrominerals required by the body) which is an antifungal substance. That's why you start with small amounts, like 1 egg yolk, and gradually increase them, just like you regulate starting on coconut oil and other antifungals. So eliminating them is not the answer since your body requires lots of sulphur and eggs are nature's most perfect food. Bee

I have been quite strong on the antifungals but I don't think I want to cut back now becuase they have been helping my other symptoms. Maybe all this fatigue has something to do with the 10 years of antihistamines I had to take everyday that I have finally stopped. Maybe reversing the damage is just taking its toll on me?
