Guest guest
I have been following the diet for 6 days now, yeast sugar and carb free. My diet was relatively sugar free and low carb previously, but not religiously. I've also been taking Oil of Oregano (3-4 drops, 4 times daily) as well as a small amount of coconut oil. I've just started to notice that my tongue is getting a white coating. I would have expected the anti-fungal properties of the oil of oregano to prevent this? Is this normal? Cheers. You wouldn't add oil of oregano until you are able to take 6 tbls. of coconut oil without getting severe die-off symptoms. You are just overwhelming your body by having both at this time. Also coconut oil provides so many other health benefits besides being antifungal. > > I've just started to notice that my tongue is getting a white coating. Is this normal? +++It is very common for most people to get thrush in their mouths when they first start on the program. In fact many symptoms will intensify at first as written in " Die-Off Symptoms " : http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/heal2.php Antifungals don't cure candida, however they help by lowering the numbers while you are building up your immune system. Candida is only cured by building up the immune system so it becomes strong enough to " make " candida change back to the friendly organism it was before changing into an overgrowing monster. So " proper nutrients are much more important than antifungals. In fact you can cure candida by not taking any antifungals or probiotics; except I believe coconut oil is important for its other health benefits. Antifungals are also found in so many foods as well, i.e. cabbage, broccoli, onions, garlic, cinnamon, butter, lard, etc., etc. Bee
