Guest guest
I pay $1.50 per pound of the live weight of the cow. I don't know how it breaks down for dressed weight. Probably about $3 per pound. I paid $775 for 1/2 cow last night, minus a 5% off coupon he gave me. I imagine Laurel Creek is cheaper. I've been to ville many times! You on the Tennessee side of the border??? Laurel Creek is near Oak Ridge, but his store is in ville. Doug > > I live in the middle of Knoxville and Asheville. That is how I pay at Hickory Nut Gap Farm. >
Guest guest
I pay 4 dollars a pound for beef and pork. I live in Sylva which is close to Knoxville when the pass is open through the Smoky Mountains. Otherwise I have to go to 40 and go back to the west. I will have to look into this farm too. I am having to be very careful now days with money. I am finishing school and my husband is retiring from the AF in June. I love farm meat. I have become so spoiled. I went to Chicago for Thanksgiving for a week. I refused to eat grocery store meat. They thought I was crazy. It is terrible. Shelby
Guest guest
Laurel Creek's store in ville is just 20 minutes from Townsend, so it would be pretty close for you. He's a real nice guy! GREAT eggs too! Doug > > I pay 4 dollars a pound for beef and pork.
