Guest guest
We have a shower filter (have had for a couple of years now) and it makes a world of difference. Every time I have to bathe somewhere else my skin & hair (not to mention my nose) immediately notice the difference. Getting a unit for the shower is inexpensive (around 30 bucks in the US). Highly recommended! andra > I'm sure many of you have heard the buzz from Dr. Oz' suggestion to > use shower filters/bath filters. > > Has anyone done this? I believe it would cost a lot less to buy a shower filter than to get a whole house system. To fill the tub the water is run through the shower unit. Here is Canada we can pay more, but they cost about $60.00, which is reasonable. They are available at the local health store. You can make the bath salts yourself, by mixing Epsom Salts and sea salt together, but I think Espom salt alone is better. Sea salt is okay, but it can dry the skin. Guest guest
Dear Bee, Good idea to fill the bath with the showerhead. So simple! Bee, as an aside, is there any way you can let us know what credits you get from our purchases? I am ordering through your site, but have no way of confirming that you are actually getting credit. If you said - got credit for two orders this month, etc. then that way I could follow up if you weren't getting the credit. Thank you. (PS great explanation of the germ theory and the American Indians. Your knowledge and instinct continue to impress me immensely. love > > > > Hi Bee, Hi All > > > > I'm sure many of you have heard the buzz from Dr. Oz' suggestion to > > use shower filters/bath filters. > > > > Has anyone done this? Guest guest
Hi andra, Thanks for the note. My question is how often do you change the filter? How do you know its time? etc.? Thanks. > > We have a shower filter (have had for a couple of years now) and it > makes a world of difference. Guest guest
, That is an interesting question, and one that I have been wondering about myself. However I think ours is due for a change... how long the cartridges last depends on your water, how often you use it, your filter... that type of thing. But some can last quite long - up to a year! andra > > Hi andra, > > Thanks for the note. My question is how often do you change the > filter? It wouldn't be helpful for me to let you know what credits I get from your purchases, since many people who do not belong to this group also purchase from my website, i.e. friends, family, people who visit my website, etc. +++Thanks for acknowledging me! I try, but like anyone I'm not perfect. Luv & Hugs, Bee
Guest guest
Hi, maybe I missed this, but what is the brand of the filter you are using? I would like to get one. Thanks,
Guest guest
Hi , the brand I plan on trying is Sprite. Apparently you can pick it up at home depot. > > Hi, > maybe I missed this, but what is the brand of the filter you are > using? There are many good brands available at your local health store. Bee
Guest guest
My brother orders ours through Quixtar, www.quixtar.com. It works really well. andra > > Hi, > maybe I missed this, but what is the brand of the filter you are > using?
