Guest guest
Hi Bee, I just wanted to give a small update. ) I've been doing the candida diet and supplements for about 2 weeks now, and it' going well. It has been kind of hard, though, because I believe I'm going through a lot of die-off symptoms. It's so amazing to see everything that you wrote about in your article exactly happening to me! LOL I guess I just need some encouragement (wow, this is hard!). I'm 27 years old and I'm sure I've had this since conception, so that would be 28 months I would need to be on this diet... hoping I can get through it!! Also I have some more questions if thats okay. For the past 2 weeks, I have been soooo constipated, and have only had 2 stools in 2 weeks!!! Before I started the diet, I would have one stool every day, and I would usually have 1 tablespoon of honey a day to keep me regular. (I know, bad idea for someone with candida I've come to find out! LOL) Very sorry to be so graphic, but the stool is very green with black specs in it. Is this what a normal stool on the candida diet looks like, or would this be part of die-off? It's difficult because I feel so nauseaus because everything's stuck inside me and I feel like I can't eat very much at all at this point because nothing is leaving my body. I'm worried about this because when nursing, I've read that we actually need to increase our calories. This is true, right? Do you know how much more fat, protein, and carbs I should be eating when nursing? Or do I just stick to what my own ratios are? I'm taking 6,000 mg of vitamin C a day, and my stool is actually pretty soft-to-runny, but it's just VERY hard to go. Also, I'm 5'6 " tall, so I'm trying to keep my protein to fat to carbs ratios at the levels they are supposed to be as I read in your article. So, just wondering if there is anything else I can do for the constipation, or if this is die-off and will eventually go away? 2 weeks is a long time to only have 2 stools! Also, this is a dumb question, but just want to make sure I'm calculating it right... my baby is now 9 months old, so since conception, he would be 19 months. So, to cure him, it would be 1 month for every year, so that would be like almost 2 months for him before he's cured, right? After he is cured of this, (and hoping he's finally wanting to eat solids by then), is it still safe for him for me to only be eating the candida diet (in case he's not eating solids and still exclusively breastfeeding) or will he need other nutrients once he's cured? Since my son was born, I have been taking the herb Fenugreek to boost my milk supply (in capsules). Do you happen to know if this is safe to take on the Candida diet, or should I stop taking this? Also, I bought some Stevia, but just noticed that it said on the bottle to consult a healthcare professional if pregnant or nursing. Is Stevia ok to take while nursing? Also, about the vitamin C, I've read that only 500 mg can be " processed " in your body at a time, and so if taking 1,000 mg at once, then the other 500 mg is not used by the body but just flushed out through our urine. I saw in your articles that you recommend taking 1,000 mg at a time. So, just wondering if what I have read about the 500 mg is true, or if it really is ok to take the 1,000 mg and it will all be used by the body? I'm taking 6 tablespoons of C.O. per day, but it's by using it for cooking. I know I should be taking spoonfuls of them (drinking it), but it just gags me. Is it ok to do the 6 tbsp by using it to cook with, or should I be swallowing it by spoonful? One last thing (sorry for all the questions!! They kind of racked up in my brain during these first 2 weeks!) I've noticed that my baby has gotten a ton of eczema spots all over his legs (I'm sure this is die-off from reading your articles), but he's also started losing his hair on his head! Is this normal on the diet, and will it grow back? Oh, one more thing - I'm taking the recommended supplements (vitamins/minerals) each day, but would I need to increase these since I'm nursing so that they pass through to my son? Thanks so much for all of your help, Bee!! I really appreciate it so much! Sorry again for the many questions!! Hope it's okay. Take care,

Guest guest
Dear Bee, I just wanted to THANK YOU so very much for answering all of my questions, I greatly appreciate it!! I'm sorry it took so long to respond and thank you, but I haven't been online over the holiday break, and just signed in today. It really surprises me that there are still people in this world like you, who take the time out of their day to help others! I wish there were more people like you in this world - it would be a much better place! You are a very caring person to take your time to help others like this! Thank you so much for all of your help, I am feeling much better now actually and things are going really well! No more constipation! I am still getting quite the cravings for ice cream or pecan pie, hehehe, but I know that is to be expected with sugar addiction, so I just pop Vitamin C every hour until it takes the cravings away. Thanks again so much for answering my long email with all those questions - you are a lifesaver!! So grateful to you Bee, ---

I'm so very happy for you that you are feeling much better and that things are going really well for you! That's fabulous you aren't constipated any more! Good for you on popping vitamin C to curb your cravings! It does work. +++You are so welcome for me " being here " for you and others. It is my honor and pleasure. When you say I'm a " lifesaver " I am reminded that after my own dear brother read my articles he said " Bee, I think you've just saved my life! " And as it turned out I did! He cured himself after doing my program for 2 years. Luv & Healing Hugs, Bee
