Guest guest
I can't seem to find anyone in the messages who has done the 9-day program? I'd love to know what to expect? If what I'm experiencing is normal or a communication from my body to take it slower and perhaps build up to being able to do an all liquid day. I have fasted before and done terribly bad but I was hoping I'd feel better on this day because I'm eating eggs and lots of fat. Is this a normal die-off situation? Also: How many egg drinks are we allowed to drink on the first day? I've done two now (6 eggs altogether) just cause I was feeling so incredibly hypoglycemic but it's only 12.30 now and I wonder how to get through the rest of the day? You can have as many egg drinks as you wish, but remember that you should still be on the same amount of fats you had prior to starting the 9-day program, or you will get more die-off symptoms, since all of the " good " fats are antifungal. You aren't experiencing hypoglycemia, but I know it feels like it is. It is impossible to have hypoglyecemia with the foods you are consuming, i.e. bone broths, soup and the egg drink. What you are experiencing is brain fog, fatigue, dizzyness, etc. caused by the high numbers of candida toxins, and other toxins being released, probably because you increased your fats too quickly. This is all so new to me still after 16 months and I tend to interpret bodily symptoms the way I did for years, but now they are different -but feel similar. lol. > probably because you increased your fats too quickly. Yes, this is most likely the problem. You see I kept the fats that I usually eat in the egg drinks but the pork broth was filled with lard at the top and I didn't really count that as fat, so even though I cut out the 3 tbsp of olive oil, I'm sure I had way more fat -perhaps even a cup or two -in form of lard and even in the chicken broth. It's hard to be rational when you're feeling that bad. But I feel much, better today and I managed to get through yesterday's liquid diet. Thanks so much for your response! I am going to buy the correct kind of steva today. Sorry for clogging up the emails before doing my searches, cause I found it in the messages today when I seem to have a more rational mind. lol.
