Guest guest
Dear Bernice, If your landlord cannot remedy the situation, definitely move. I am guessing that all of us here are hyper-sensitive to mould in general. I grew up in the desert and moved to Austin 15 years ago...the mould in Austin has just about done me in at times and I genuinely wonder if the climate could be a contributor to the candida since it was never a problem in West Texas. I'd move back to the desert in a heartbeat if I could. Not only is your health being affected, think about the health of your baby. Your baby can't even tell you if (s)he is having headaches, etc. from the mould...but think how sensitive babies are to their surroundings. They're like little sponges. Take a close look at your lease and see to what extent it protects your rights vs. protecting your landlord from having to take action. You may be able to get out scott-free since the place sounds like a health hazard. Just my 2 cents.

Many candida sufferers are very sensitive to molds in their environment. You can clean it up, or get a professional to clean it for you: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/toxin14.php It would be much better to move!
