I bought mine at wholefoods market- it is especially made for dry skin brushing

and has a long handle so that  I can reach my back.  I'm not sure of the

bristles but know that they are natural.

Hi all, I have read over the articles on skin brushing and want to get

started but I am not sure what kind of brush to use. When I did it a few

years ago I used a loofah. I don't have one now but would that be a choice?

Would you chime in with what kind of brush you use (what material the

bristles are made out of)? Thank you, Tammy

+++Hi Tammy. The dry skin brushing article describes the kind of brush

to buy as follows:

http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/treat7.php

Use the Right Kind of Brush

The brush used should be a long-handled, bath-type brush. It is

essential that it contain natural bristles and not synthetic ones.

Synthetic bristles will scratch the surface of the skin and are harsh

and irritating. The brush should be kept dry and not used for bathing.

Thoroughly wash the brush with soap and water every couple of weeks.

Always allow the brush to dry out when not in use.

This is what the brush looks like, which is available in all drug

stores: http://www.amazon.com/H2O-Plus-Natural-Bristle-

Brush/dp/B00029V10M
