What is your name please? +++Virgin coconut oil isn't necessarily different than Extra Virgin or others either, since those terms are not regulated. +++I couldn't find, on either of those websites, the statement that their coconut oil was actually unrefined, undeodorized, and unbleached, which are extremely important - maybe you have the time to find it. If it isn't there, I recommend you write to both companies and ask them specifically, so that others on this group, and I, can feel secure. Guest guest
Hello Bee, Thank you for responding. I believe seeing the sites stating them, I can't remember and I haven't looked through them. However, I found Omega Nutrition locally so I'm good with the coconut oil for now. I'm trying to get Blue Ice Cod Liver Oil now. I was looking through the recipes and the no-no foods and I saw " almonds " on the not allowed list and I see in the recipes an icon that it's safe for Candida diet. It's stated as " almond flour " in http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/recipes/recipe184.php You mentioned in a couple posts not to be worried about weight loss. I've had Interstitial Cystitis (IC) for more than 6 years and I've been on the underweight side and loss weight due to IC diet and followed by a little of Candida diet since I was/am doing antibiotics. I started losing more weight and I don't gain back easily and haven't in years even before I was ill. I'm really underweight now and I'm close to being dangerously underweight and it indeed is a problem which worries. I'm 75lbs and I was 82lbs two months and I have not even followed this diet. I think Vitamin C is very important too. But, you mentioned taking Vitamin C which is absorbic acid which IC patients can't take because of high acidity levels. And, you mentioned also taking them in high doses. That's worrisome and scary to say the least, I'm scared for my bladder. We're suggested to take Ester-C which you don't encourage, so how should one go about it? And, do address me by my username, Vampireness, thank you. " > > I think Vitamin C is very important too. But, you mentioned taking > Vitamin C which is absorbic acid which IC patients can't take because of high acidity levels. And, you mentioned also taking them in high doses. That's worrisome and scary to say the least, I'm scared for my bladder. We're suggested to take Ester-C which you don't encourage, so how should one go about it? +++I don't recommend taking Ester-C - see this article: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/esterc.php +++Vitamin C wouldn't influence the level of pH (acidity) in your urinary system, since the body regulates it very carefully at certain levels. Start at low doses of vitamin C - take the tablets I recommend rather than ascorbic acid - and slowly increase them. +++To help your IC drink fresh parsley tea found in this article: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/women5.php Bee
Guest guest
Hello Bee, Thank you for responding and no problem about pointing it out. I have a couple questions. You mentioned about the Vitamin C you suggested, any specific brand or something I should look for? I have read the Ester C article previosuly. I have looked through your daily menu and it states egg drink being the only breakfast, am I right? The other thing is, I read someone mentioning they take 8 eggs a day? Is this healthy? I mean, there is high choloestrol level to be worried about? I'm thinking about trying out the parsley tea. Thank you.

The egg drink is fast, easy and is a great way to start on good fats since the recipe can be adjusted, starting with 1 egg or 1 egg yolk if eggs cause healing reactions. Eggs contain sulphur which is antifungal so many people have to start with small amounts and gradually increase them to minimize die-off/healing reactions. > > The other thing is, I read someone mentioning they take 8 eggs a day? Is this healthy? I mean, there is high choloestrol level to be worried about? +++It appears you haven't read the main candida article " How to Successfully Overcome Candida " which discusses the Cholesterol Theory Myth, which is totally false - see this: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/heal13.php#a25 +++Also see " Taking the fear out of eating fat " ; http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/foods15.php And also see " What Causes Heart Disease " ; http://www.westonaprice.org/moderndiseases/hd.html And Cholesterol & Heart Disease; A Phony Issue: http://www.westonaprice.org/knowyourfats/fats_phony.html This man ate 25 eggs per day yet his cholesterol was low: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/eggs1.php > > I'm thinking about trying out the parsley tea. +++It's in this article: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/women5.php The best to you, Bee
Guest guest
Hello Bee, I meant no problem to you saying thank you for pointing out the almond recipe that you corrected. And, please do address me by my username, Vampireness, I think I mentioned that previously =). I'm looking about these two brands but they're not easy to get. I came across this one, but I'm not sure of the quality. http://www.natures-glory.com/searchresult_details.asp?ProductSID=321 What do you think? The egg isn't making me feel full, just one egg so far is like drinking nothing and I'm starving all the way till lunch and continue starving till dinner. I'll take a look at the choloestrol articles. And, one person's body isn't the same as another, that concerns me. I'm aware of the parsley, you previously suggested it to me and I just mentioned I'll look into it =). The other thing is the fish oil need, can I use Carlson's Super Omega fish oil capsules for the Vitamin A along with the Cod Liver Oil? Is that the right one? Guest guest
Oh and I forgot to ask, why are you suggesting Vitamin C crystals instead of Vitamin C capsules or tablets themselves? Vitamin C crystals seems like for those who are unable to take the other forms of it.

And, one person's body > isn't the same as another, that concerns me. +++It isn't true that bodies are different as far as their requirement for " proper nutrients. " Dr. Price writes this: " We humans have the same rigid restrictions regarding food selection as the simpler forms of life when foods are evaluated from their chemical basis. " And he writes: " Also, it is not necessary to adopt the foods of any particular racial stock, but only to make our nutrition adequate in all its nutritive factors to the primitive nutrition. Tooth decay is not only unnecessary, but an indication of our divergence from Nature's fundamental laws of life and health. " +++All humans are exactly the same species. > The other thing is the fish oil need, can I use Carlson's Super Omega fish oil capsules for the Vitamin A along with the Cod Liver Oil? Is that the right one? +++Different brands of cod liver oil contains different nutrient amounts of omega 3, and vitamins A & D, so whether you need to take extra omega 3 from a separate products depends upon the brand of cod liver oil you take. +++You take fish oil plus vitamin A when you get enough vitamin D from the sun; otherwise you take cod liver oil plus additional nutrients depending upon nutrients levels in your brand - see this article: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/cod2.php Bee

Some vitamin C brands may not contain all of these substances, which is fine. If you get loose stools (diarrhea) taking 4,000 mg per day, start with less and gradually increase it. Ascorbic acid powder or crystals are much less expensive to take than vitamin C tablets. If you wish to take ascorbic acid, take 3,000 mg per day and 1,000 mg vitamin C tablet, which is a total of 4,000 mg vitamin C per day. Because ascorbic acid can upset the stomach it is best to take it with meals. Also it can be hard on the teeth, so rinse your mouth well after drinking it. Vitamin C Dose: Take 1,000 mg 4 times a day = 4,000 total per day. Start with 500 mg twice a day and gradually increase it to avoid getting loose stools. " +++If a person cannot swallow pills they should crush up the vitamin C tablets or grind them in a coffee grinder. > > I read the articles on cholestrol. And, thank you for the > explaination on humans being the same. I'll have to read up more on that. +++Good for you. My reference for humans being the same is Dr. Weston A. Price's book Nutrition and Physical Degeneration - available on my website through Amazon - what country do you live in? I am thinking of purchasing Blue Ice Cod Liver Oil from Green Pasture and get the fish oil from Super Omega 3 fish oil: http://www.carlsonlabs.com/product_detail.phtml?prodid=10012879 +++You do not need to take both Fish Oil and Cod Liver Oil - see this article which explains when you take Cod Liver Oil, and when you only need Fish Oil plus vitamin A: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/cod2.php Bee
Guest guest
Thank you for the opinion on the asscorbic acid powder and capsules, I'll get them. I just meant that most times like ascorbic acid is sold in powder it's for people who can't swallow, that's all. You however express the need for the bioflavonoids etc and such, so I get it. I'm really low on money that I'm eating food little as possible because organic chicken costs S$70+, so I can't buy any books and am struggling to afford supplements. I can find the book on Amazon if I need it, thank you. I live in Singapore, so I'll have to use a program to ship it over and it's extremly costly since Amazon doesn't ship over here. Protein: 55g Fats: 137 - 192g Carbs: 27 - 44g I have a huge question and I really hope you can help me. Those figures there, I find it difficult to calculate and meet the target amount of food intake. Could you please give me an example on how much food I'd consume using baked chicken, eggs and mashed cauliflower etc. I usually eat two hard boiled eggs with ghee but I just don't know how much ghee to meet that fats amount and I used to take just the egg drink but it's not enough, like I mentioned. I don't think it'll satisfy me even if I were to take two tablespoon of coconut oil. You suggested buckwheat pancake or 1/2 cup of brown rice. How long did you mean when you said " awhile " ? How will I know it's time to fully do the diet? 1/2 cup of brown rice seems so little too. About the fish oil and cod liver oil. I live in a hot country without much of these season changes. It's either rain or shine so I can't follow winter and summer etc. The other thing is that I don't go anywhere so I'm not getting sun. I have a question and I need a straight forward answer, please. I have Bartonella and I'd like to know if this diet is going to help any. I am trying to stop my antibiotics to do this but whenever I stop my antibiotics apart from the Bartonella not getting treated. I have suffered and am still suffering, 6 years of chronic UTIs so I risk the fact that the infection can go to my kidneys when left untreated. So, I have Interstitial cystisis, Bartonella and Yeast. Your program is really helpful for those with just yeast problem, though yeast can contribute to many other illnesses, I'm not sure about Bartonella and IC. Please please don't suggest cranberry juice to anyone with IC, I've read a previous post where the suggestion was made. We have very sensitive bladders with pinpoint bleeding for some and just inflammation in others and consuming cranberry increases the pain immensely along with frequency and urge. Hence, why I'm very concerned about acidic things like Vitamin C, my NP suggested buffered C and even those were a problem because of our " wounds " getting " soaked " in acid and that causes increase in symptoms. Will this program and supplements help my other illnesses?

Those > figures there, I find it difficult to calculate and meet the target > amount of food intake. Then you can see how close you were to eating your ratios. Then you just need to increase or decrease quantities of foods. I wouldn't have the time to calculate everyone's foods, and what each person eats is so very different. Also people here are from all over the World. > > I usually eat two hard boiled eggs with ghee but I just don't know how > much ghee to meet that fats amount and I used to take just the egg > drink but it's not enough, like I mentioned.
