Guest guest
Hello Bee & everyone, My 43yo husband has been extremely sick for 3 years now. Started with a severe gut infection which was followed up by around 7 rounds of antibiotics in 12 months. For 2 years he has been treated for MCS because the biochemist we were working with didnt belive he had candida as it never showed up in any stool tests. Since then he has been diagnosed with systematic yeast infection via live blood analysis and is currently taking Nystatin. He has digestive problems, brainfog and severe fatigue. Since starting the diet the fatigue has increased so much he can barely stand up at times. He is eating mainly chicken, fish and some red meat, loads of veggies and fresh eggs from our own chickens. He is cooking in organic coconut oil and using lots of herbs and spices making some very yummy dishes :)I know he is on the right track but I am finding it so hard to watch him suffer like this with the fatigue just wiping him out. Prior to the illness he was an athlete so not being able to move frustrates him and makes him so so sad. He is teriffied that this is it for him and that he will never ever get better and be able to cycle again. Then I get very depressed and cry a lot - we only got married 6 mths before he got ill. Is this extreme fatigue normal, how long until he starts improving? Thanks everyone.
