I don't believe the chicken caused you to become sick, even though it appears as if it did. If the chicken was the real problem it would have caused you to vomit and be sick to your stomach, and not the symptoms you describe. I believe you are either " retracing " something you had in the past like the flu, sore throat, cold, etc. or your body is doing a lot more detoxifying at this time. It was bad timing for you to feel so sick after eating the chicken however.
