But they didn't mention their fat consumption, neither the type nor the amount... ****************************************** I was worried about this (memory loss and other side effects) when I started Bee's diet, because I once followed a very strict low-carb diet and after a few weeks of feeling better and good weight-loss I found myself very depressed and experienced a kind of lost feeling in my head where information was concerned. This time I pay very much attention to my fat intake, according to Bee, according to dr. Jan Kwasniewski, according to Weston Price, etc. I have to take at least 12 spoons of good fat a day (3 times 4 spoons) and my thinking ability has gone up! But I only noticed that the last couple of weeks, so it took about 3 to 3 1/2 month to get this result. Proof of that I got lately when I was tested. I did the famous WAIS test (it measures your IQ) and I scored very high. I did the tests easily. I was very much surprised how I felt during that test. My brain felt so 'quick'. Lots of brainfog are gone already (4 months on Bee's diet), and sometimes they come and go again when the next healing crisis has arrived... But that test gave me the courage to go on. Fats and vitamins (recommended by Bee) are important and such articles are just vague hear-say, based on nothing (a study of only 19 women who only where on a diet with no details availabel for only three weeks. I strongly suggest you don't bother yourself nor your brains anymore with such articles, it will only scare you. You maybe still are searching for solutions, because you aren't able to study and that is so understandable. I'm on welfare because I am not able to work, Bee also couldnt'work for a long time when following (some sort of) her own diet. Its a hard time we are going through, but you have already the solution. This diet is all you need. Please focus on Bee's diet and on the succes stories here and you will get better. Last suggestion: make sure you take enough vit. B3 (niacin). Since I took another dose of niacin (100 mg extra twice a day) next to my vit. B 50 mg (which includes niacin also) I sometimes get those described hot flushes in my brain. My whole 'roof' is burning for 15 minutes or so and I can feel the blood running there, the skin of the top of my head is red, my ears are very very red (I look a little bit funny to say the least, I always hope this doesn't happen on the street or some other public place). Since I got those flushes in my brain I notice I'm able to proces information on a much higher level. I guess lots of toxins are finally able to get cleared out.
