Guest guest
Hi everyone, I have a 4 year old who has been struggling with yeast from a very young age, partly due to my candida and also having had lots of antibiotics as a newborn. I need to rereview all of Bee's intro files, but we have been on a very strict carb free, sugar free diet for a long time and we still can't seem to beat the yeast beast. I need some encouragement that she will finally get over this. It's been a very long 4 years of ongoing die off, removing more and more foods, etc. Like I said, I will rereview the intro files but need some encouragement! Thanks,

My heart goes out to you and your dear daughter. First, you need to understand that carbs are any and all foods that are not classified as protein or fat. So that includes vegetables, grains, nuts, fruits, etc. +++Your current diet may not be adequate to cure candida, since the only way to cure it is by building up the immune system with " proper nutrients " (my diet & all supplements), by eliminating all foods and toxins that feed candida, and by eliminating other toxins. > I need some encouragement that she will finally get over this. It's > been a very long 4 years of ongoing die off, removing more and more > foods, etc. Like I said, I will rereview the intro files but need some encouragement! +++I recommend you thoroughly read " How to Successfully Overcome Candida, " " Curing Candida, How to Get Started, " and " Candida Treatments for Babies & Children " - all are found on this menu on my website: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/candida/index.php +++Also for encouragement see the many Success Stories by members of this group: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/success/index.php +++After you understand what you need to do and why please get back to us with questions. We are here to help you and your daughter get healthy too! The best to you, Bee
Guest guest
Hi Bee, Thanks so much for your reply. I read through your articles last night and I see where some of our problems might be: She still gets butternut squash and nuts. These seem to be the 2 things that she is eating that are not allowed. She was also having a about 1/8 tsp homemade cherry jelly per day. It's been very difficult with the diet because she is very picky and she has always been underweight. We are always worrying if she will be OK because she's been so sickly since birth. To add to our current stress, she just had eye surgery on Monday and they had to use IV antibiotics. Although I got them to 1/2 the dose, the doctor wouldn't avoid them altogether and I was scared to do that also. We are supposed to be putting antibiotic cream in her eyes also but she just screams so I don't know how long I can do this anyway. I have to review your supplement list to see how I need to adjust her supplements. I also have to figure out a new way to get supplements in her since I was mixing them in pureed butternut squash with stevia. Lastly, she is taking saccaromyces boulardii which has helped a lot. Is this allowed? Many, many thanks,

Is this allowed? +++Hi . That's great you read the articles. You and your daughter will benefit a great deal with this program. But please change over slowly, okay? +++Instead of putting antibiotic cream in her eyes, put in unrefined coconut oil (CO) - her vision will blurr a little bit but it won't hurt her, and CO is antibacterial, antifungal, etc. +++Please do not give your daughter saccaromyces boulardii! It could take advantage of an immune deficiency and cause a systemic infection, particularly in anyone who has candida. It is a very unnecessary bacteria anyway. +++You would wait to give her probiotics until later on anyway. Start with diet, supplements for children, and unrefined coconut oil (start with very small amounts and only gradually increase it). +++You can put supplements in other foods allowed, and puree them first, i.e. cauliflower, summer squash, brocolli, etc. There are other mothers on this group whose children are on this program who will help you with suggestion too. The best to you, Bee
Guest guest
Hi Bee, Thank you for the suggestions. I had heard that cauliflower and broccoli are hard to digest, is that true? I will begin cutting down then on the saccaromyces. Oh boy! Here I thought it was helping her. Thanks again, > +++Please do not give your daughter saccaromyces boulardii! I don't recommend eating any vegetables raw - see this article: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/veg2.php > I will begin cutting down then on the saccaromyces. Oh boy!
