While candida's waste is acidic, which can push along the process towards hypoxia, it is not the PRIME cause, which Dr. Warburg informed us over 40 years ago, is oxygen starvation at the cellular level. There are many ways to alkalinize the body - calcium, cesium, sodium bicarbonate - and they are important adjuncts to ozone therapy. And our success rate is actually better than what he claims for terminal cases. Best of Health! Here the causes may be many and individual from person to person, yet the damage that antibiotics do could very well start the cycle downward for millions. This link between candida and antibiotics is phenomenal. If DR Simoncini is curing cancer by killing the fungus this is a profound even. But we must not assume that the elimination of the fungus is all that is going on with with the use of sodium bicarbonate and iodine ( as he states is effective for skin cancer and psoriasis). Altering the ph with bicarb is significant and has been known for a long time to assist in the annihilation of microbes of various sorts and the ph shift likely positively effects the cells capacity for cellular respiration. It would be a great adjunct in ozone therapy. Bingo... and I would venture to say that he is also incorporating dietary and other lifestyle changes too - and it is these factors that most likely affect the long term success rate - ie, the success rate is directly proportional to the extent that these lifestyle changes are incorporated by those being treated. I am on the road to getting well. I am concerned as I have found a website that says candida is the cause of cancer. Dr Simoncini says that candida and cancer are concurrent. He says he treats his patients with sodium bicarbonate to cure the cancer. I was wondering if anybody has heard of this connecion candida-cancer as this would make sense. Sodium bicarbonate is alkaine which Bee says is an environment that candida dislike.
