Guest guest
Dear Bee and group- I was away from home for three days. I stuck to the diet but found that my nose had began to run (my personal 'tell' as to how well things are going.) This surprised me, since my diet was unchanged, I was sleeping well, not too stressed, etc. Then I realized the one thing I hadn't brought with me, so had discontinued, was my olive oil for oil pulling. (I had forgot my floss too. (I did take my saliva PH reading which was holding steady.) When I got home and back to my usual routine I figured it out. The minute I flossed and oil pulled, my nasal congestion cleared! By next morning, my sinuses were totally clear, no more nasal drip. (This confirms candida for me, once again.) And showed how important (at least for me), keeping my mouth, teeth and gums very clean= clear sinuses. This may not be needed by others, and some may not have dramatic results, but this works for me. As Bee said, use virgin olive oil or coconut oil, about a table spoon. Squish and pull it through your teeth for about ten minutes, twice a day, after flossing but before brushing. So, if you find that you have congestion, try adding oil pulling to your toolbox.
