Guest guest
Hi everyone, I'm making some pork broth/lard right now but I wish I could let it simmer for longer than 12 hours. I have a gas stove so I wouldn't want to go to sleep with it on. How does anyone simmer something for that long? Am I missing something? Could I turn it off and leave in in room temperature overnight and then put on the stove again when I wake up? Or should I cool the broth, put it in the fridge overnight and then continue boiling it the following day?
