Guest guest
Hi, I was researching on the net about the connection between PCOS and Candida and Lupus and Candida. I don't have Lupus thank God, but I do have PCOS. I had my 1st bad attack of thrush when I was 13 and that is when Dr started giving me antibiotics. It got worse and worse. I started having very bad cramps and period pains when I was around 17 but the Dr dismissed it as many un-important things. I remember crying to see a gynae but he refused. I one day went to an STI clinic and asked what is wrong with me, I begged the Gynae to send me to have a scan. I was 23 and after years and years of begging she finally agreed. I was diagnosed with PCOS 2 weeks later. I have had really bad heavy periods, but thank God never missed a cycle ever! The candida plus PCOS caused my reproductive organs to sleep, basically I was not even ovulating, eventhough I was having regular periods. On top of that I had tubal blockage and adhesions. Anyway, I did all sorts to try and get rid of the candida and PCOS, they are still there, but only God knows how I got pregnant cos I have a lovely 9 month old. As for the site I saw,Candida and PCOS/Candida and Lupus go hand in hand, so apparently if the candida can be eliminated then the PCOS will also go. (I am not sure about Lupus) I hope it is true that getting rid of candida can help PCOS. This is even more motivation for me to stay on the diet. I am sick and tired of being sick.
