Do you have usage of your hands? I dont. but it IS as simple as it

sounds. my friend w/ sma can do it herself I cannot. She does need help

sometimes on her 'weak-days' with opening the cath package. If you lifted

your shirt does your button show?

Mine is under my big sma-belly, but I have 24/7 caregivers to help me.

It is SSOOOO awesome that I regret not doing it sooner. Not very many

Doc's know how to do it. The 1st Dr. said " why cant you just wear a

diaper? " My answer was " screw you! I'm a 25 year old woman with some

dignity, I'm not going to sit in piss all day at the office & risk skin

breakdown " .

's the only one on the list who semi-knows me, lets just say I

didn't leave the doc's office w/o making a scene. My nurse was just a tad

embarrassed. heehe.

well? do you blame me?

I ended up going to my friends dr. and he said SURE!!

i ask my Dr. about it, its called a mitrophnoff, correct? ive heard of

something else called an ostonomy, but i think that had a " pee bag " attatched to

opening and is not the same thing? (I dont want my dr to look at me like im

It sounds like something I could do. That's soooo amazing! Why haven't I

heard about this before? :) I'm definitely looking into this more. How cool

would it be to get this done this summer? It would make moving out to college

so much easier, I can't even imagine.

stupid doctors (and others) like that! How many times I've wanted to!!

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone else's belly button gets moist and smelly at

times. This is in spite of making sure it's dry after every

bath/shower. It doesn't happen all the time, just now and then. Could

this be candida?

Kindest Regards,

Tracey

+++Hi Tracey. Yes, it could be candida growing in that area, or it

could be toxins coming out. Candida produces over 79 different kinds

toxins.

Apply unrefined coconut oil after your bath/shower and drying it. You

can soak a piece of cotton with coconut oil, and/or oil of oregano

mixed 50/50 with coconut oil, and keep it place with tape.

Mine used to do that and it was embarrasing. Funny that is one thing

that has gone away and I didn't even notice. I used to think that the

doc's at birth did not completely close my opening. I had put it on my

list of things to get redone. Guess I don't have to now.
