Guest guest
Hi Jen, If you were on antibiotics for an extended length of time, it's highly likely that you have candida, even though you don't have typical 'yeast-type' infections. Have you done Dr. Crook's test? http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/intro3.php The thing with candida is that it can show up in different ways. For me, it was unexplained stomach pain. It sounds like for you it is more intestinal.?? Some typical menus for our family (we are all on the diet) are: Eggs for breakfast for my son and husband, I usually have bone broth Fish and vegetables for lunch Different meat dishes for dinner - for example, chili, the shepherd's pie recipe from Bee's site, meatballs, roasts, chicken, stir fried pork - whatever we feel like! I, too, am a breastfeeding mother, and I just take the recommended vitamins from Bee's site. My son is pretty much weaned, though. He maybe takes milk one or twice a week. I suspect that the reason you still have 'food intolerances' even though you've been on a traditional foods diet is because you haven't fully got the candida under control. Eggs are very healing, so the 'intolerance' you feel is " die-off " of the candida, not actually an intolerance. Gluten is just bad for you, so your immune system is working to get rid it. Bee said recently that tomatoes (and other night shade vegetables) are healing (sorry I don't remember more detail about that) so again, your 'intolerance' is likely just a healing reaction. Oh, and I just wanted to let you know that this diet can really help with the PPD (you mean post-partum depression, right?). It has helped me that department as well. Welcome to the club! It's a long journey, but one that is well worth the effort. Good luck, > > Hello all! > I a considering starting the candida diet because I think that may be my issue.
