Bee, I have been reading your articles for awhile and have a question

regarding grains--What does someone who is dangerously underweight

(5'5 " and weighs 75 lbs) and has been unable to gain weight. If I

followed your diet without carbs I would loose 1/2 lb per day but at

the same time need to get rid of the candida. Please help.

Thank you,

Ellen

+++Hi Ellen. Low body weight does not mean you are less healthy, and

it is the least of your problems when you have candida. You may not

lose 1/2 lb. per day if you eat enough protein and get your good fats

ratio up high enough. Until you can get your fat ratios up you can

eat small amounts of buckwheat (made into pancakes is easiest - see

the recipe on my website).
