Metabolism too high

Bee,

I did a search for a post or something on this topic and found some

things that were sorta close, but I just wanted to ask, is there

something that you can do to LOWER your metabolism? I feel mine is

definitely too high. I have to eat like every 3 hours and sometimes I

wake up in the night hungry (still) and that really gets it going.

Sometimes I'll eat like twice in the middle of the night and then have

to eat breakfast right away in the morning. My heart races often, etc.

And I don't gain any weight. Is this a sign of hyperthyroid? Would you

recommend I get a thyroid blood test or hormone panel? Or could this

be diabetes? Just wanted to ask you before I made the Dr. appt.

Thanks!

ita

+++Hi ita. It's possible you are hyperthyroid, but it won't stay

that way as you continue to progress on this program. Your thyroid

function will go up and down during the healing process, along with the

functioning of many organs throughout your body.

You could also be hypoglycemic, unless you are strictly on this diet,

since the high " good " fats make it impossible to be hypoglycemic.

Also cravings and withdrawal symptoms cause those same symptoms. It is

also common to get a racing heart because of all of the toxins being

released.

thyroid and adrenal malfunctioning go hand in hand and are common for

candida sufferers. That is because candida toxins (and other toxins)

make all of the cell membranes rigid/stiff. That means all organs in

the body will have difficulty functioning properly, and that hormones,

nutrients and even water aren't as able to get into stiff cell

membranes - see this article:

In any case, it is wise to start treating this or that organ when you

have candida. It isn't the organs themselves that are the cause of the

problem; it's candida toxins along with other toxins. So it is

important to concentrate on curing candida.

First, I suggest you do regular deep breathing exercises to help your

body switch over from its sympathetic nervous system to its

parasympathetic nervous system:

Second, read about cravings and withdrawal symptoms and try some of the

recommendations:

Also do dry skin brushing, coffee enemas, Epsom salt baths, etc. which

help your body detoxify - see this article:

Hang in there, since this too shall pass as you progress.

The best in health, Bee

Hi,

Have you been tested for parasites? Just a thought!
