Guest guest
Hi Bee I'm Karma and started your program about 2 weeks ago. I have been sugar free for 15 months and have been trying to find a good candida program in that time. I am so happy I found this group. Your program is easy to understand and makes a lot of sense. I am currently taking: Calcium Complete - Health Direction Calcium Citrate 1.05g (elemental calcium 221.6mg) Hydroxyapatite 240mg (elemental calcium 60mg) Magnesium oxide 227mg (elemental magnesium 131.4mg) Manganese amino acid chelate 10mg (elemental magnesium 1.0mg) Zinc gluconate 6.7mg (elemental Zinc 875mcg) Acetomenaphthone (Vit K4) 7.5mcg Cholecalciferol (Vit D3) 2.5mcg (100IU) Copper gluconate (elemental copper 490mcg) Boron (as Borax) 750mcg Just wondering if you think this is a good calcium tablet? I am still learning and have only just realized it has copper in it. Is copper ok to take? I thought candida was all about removing heavy metals from the body? Magnesium Complete - Health Direction Magnesium orotate 200mg (equiv 13mg magnesium) Magnesium aspartate 200mg (equiv 13mg magnesium) Magnesium amino acid chelate 150mg (equiv 30mg magnesium) Magnesium phosphate 80mg (equiv 16.5mg magnesium) Total elemental magnesium content 73mg Do you think this is a good magnesium tablet? The main reason I went with this brand is that it is free from salt, lactose, sucrose, dairy products, gluten, yeast, artificial colors, artificial flavors, artificial sweeteners or preservatives. Thank you for any help, and thanks for a fantastic program. Karma

If they do not, then Bee recommends taking more of the " non-elemental " versions of the vitamins. I believe it's 40% more that she suggests. So, in the case of your Calcium, you would take around 600mg (a little more, I'm aproximating, but you can use a calculator ) to get 300 elemental mg. So taking the 500 pill actually gives you a bit less than 300 elemental mg. With the Mag, taking 800 mg gives you about 400 elemental mg roughly. You may want to break those Mag pills in half and figure out what to take. Plus, the whole ratio of Cal/Mag often needs fine-tuning for people. This why I am picky about the mg. amounts in my Calcium and Magnesium especially. Once I found my formula, I always buy the same mg. And I buy in quantity, and I buy again when I start my last bottle because I don't want to get caught with other formulas. Hope this helps, Marissa

Often we need more magnesium than calcium, so you need to start with equal amounts initially. Marissa helped you too. Bee
