Guest guest
Sara, No, I didn't do anything in particular to encourage the period to come back. I just kept upping my fats (the last few weeks I am finally up to 6 tbsp, it took me almost four months to get here!) and focusing on good food and getting all my supplements. I kept telling myself that I was doing the most important things and my body would get around to this when it was ready and had the energy for it - I don't know about you, but I've always been quite physically wrecked, at least the first days of my period. I must say the first day this time around was quite bad with the exhaustion, but that was the only such day. Like I said, I did miss four months, and I did have thoughts like, oh my, all that buildup is building up and not being broken down over four months, that must mean when I DO get it, it will be a doozy, lots of bleeding, lots of pain, lots of clotting (which was another of my major problems - menorrhagia).. but it didn't happen that way. It was very 'normal' - as compared to other women mind you: if it was normal for me I would have had several days of intense pain etc. It was lighter than I expected, especially given the missed months. It will all work out for you, too! I'm sure of it. andra > Hi andra, > can i ask if you did anything to 'encourage' your period's return? I just skipped my 4th month in a row and it makes me feel sick inside knowing I'm not getting the cleansing that my body needs. I was thinking of seeing an herbalist but would love to have my body just do it on it's own. > thanks and congrats, > Sara >
