Guest guest
Hello everyone. This will be a very embarrassing post but I need help. I have been a member of this group for some time but, sadly, have been in denial about the changes that I need to make in order to be healthy. Well, my body will not let me get away with it any longer so I've been transitioning onto the program for 13 days now. I am nursing a 6 month of infant so I am trying to keep the die-off/toxin release/weight loss to a minimum for my daughter's sake. Anyway, so far I am completely grain free and eating lots of protein and vegetables. I have yet to go off of fruit and nuts completely though I have decreased their intake as well. I have been using honey and vanilla in 24-hour yogurt that I make (transitioning to this diet from the SCD). Anyway, the background is that I came back to this diet because for the last 5 months I have had cracked/sometimes bleeding fingertips on my right hand. Nothing I have done (all have been natural remedies) has made the problem any better. Dressing and diapering my daughter every day is excruciating. I also have a red, bumpy and itchy rash all over my forearms. To the touch it feels like my skin was dipped in cornstarch. On top of that I have severe labial itching with redness, redness at the vaginal opening and an area about 6 inches in circumference that extends from my anus with pretty severe rectal itching as well. The first 4 inches of this area look like a very bad sunburn and feels the same. At times there is a clear liquid that oozes from the skin (not pus or like infection). The outer edge is composed of very thick skin that flakes up and can be peeled off. It is very painful to sit, to wipe after BMs and, again, nothing I have done to this point is making the situation better. The only way I get relief is by soaking in an Epsom salt bath with tea tree oil and even that only lasts several hours. I have also done 2 douches with garlic tea and at night inserted probiotics. I have done one clear water enema. No relief. My question is, I know that I need to be on this program. I know that in time my issues will resolve if I follow the program and I look forward to that. I have read on the enemas and douches but they say to wait until you have started taking anti-fungals. In the meantime, I am having a hard time functioning and wonder if there is anything I can do to decrease these severe symptoms. Please help. I am miserable and feeling desperate. Thank you so, so much for any help that you can provide. I don't know what I would be doing now if it wasn't for this group. Thank you Bee.
